Trust begets trust. Suspicion is foetid and only stinks. He who trusts has never yet lost in the world. Defeat cannot dishearten him. It can only chasten him…. Truth is superior to man’s wisdom. One should never lose optimism. In seemingly darkest hours hope has burnt bright within. The path is straight and narrow and like the edge of a sword to move on to the truth. Rejoice to walk on it. God’s word is: ‘He who strives never perishes.’ We have implicit faith in that promise. Society needs trust because it increasingly finds itself operating at the edge between confidence in what is known from everyday
experience, and contingency of new possibilities. Without trust, all contingent possibilities should be always considered, leading to a paralysis of inaction. Trust is to human relationships what faith is to gospel living. It is the beginning place, the foundation upon which more can be built. Where trust is, love can flourish.
Look out into the universe and contemplate the glory of God. Observe the stars, millions of them, twinkling in the night sky, all with a message of unity, part of the very nature of God. We promote a way of life that leads to health, prosperity, happiness, and peace of mind. India is probable the only country in the world where people belonging to different religions, castes and creeds, speaking different languages, having different cultures, different modes of living, different clothing, different feeding habits, worshiping different gods and deity live together in harmony and believe to be the children of one mother-MOTHER INDIA. They are one nation at large.
Determination is pursuing a goal with energy and focus. It keeps us firmly centered on a chosen purpose. It is the tool we use to keep defeat from becoming permanent. Sometimes we find ourselves distracted from our central goal by other desires. We get overwhelmed by obstacles, isolation, pain or fatigue. At these times, determination pushes onward and gives us the energy to triumph. By keeping us on a path, determination helps us to make our dreams into realities and to live by our highest values. Everyone is driven by his or her own determination to succeed, the determination to be outstanding among
others, this determination is innate quality hidden in our soul, which can only come to surface when an event irks it. This quality is not divinely imprinted on our souls; rather it is a reflection of our values taught us by society and those who are an integral part in forming our character.
You cannot plough a field by turning it over in your mind. God gives every bird its food, but He does not throw it into its nest. The one thing that matters is the effort. It continues, whereas the end to be attained is but an illusion of the climber, as he fares on and on from crest to crest; and once the goal is reached it has no meaning. True national education is one which is organically linked with the life of a nation and which is a natural process through the accumulated endeavors and the cherished ideals and traditions of the people of the land. The stereotyped and mechanical educational atmosphere of India was
obstructing the originality or initiative of children. Education can be imparted only by a teacher and never by a method. “Man can learn only from a man. Just as a water tank can be filled only with water and fire can be kindled only with fire, life can be inspired only with life. . . .The mere pill of a method instead shall bring us no salvation.” We have come to this world to accept it, not merely to know it. We may become powerful by knowledge, but we attain fullness by sympathy. The highest education is that which does not merely give us information but makes our life in harmony with all existence.
